This customized formulation combines Vermicompost, Trichocompost, Cow-Dung Compost and Epsom Salt to provide organic matter, gradual nutrition, beneficial microbial support and magnesium-sulfur supplementation.

It is suitable for a wide range of established plants, including vegetables, fruit plants, flowering plants and leafy houseplants.

Container-grown plants depend entirely on the limited growing medium available inside their pots. With repeated watering, rainfall and plant growth, organic matter and nutrients can gradually become depleted.

This Mixed Fertilizer is designed to help replenish the growing medium while supporting the biological health of the root zone.

Vermicompost
Provides organic matter, humus and a broad range of naturally occurring plant nutrients. Vermicompost also helps improve soil structure and moisture retention.

Trichocompost
Adds organic matter while supporting beneficial microbial activity in the root zone through Trichoderma-based composting.

Cow-Dung Compost
Provides additional organic matter and gradual nutrient release while helping improve the physical condition of the growing medium.

Epsom Salt

Fruit plants are heavier feeders, particularly when actively growing, flowering or carrying fruit. Therefore, this fertilizer should be considered part of a broader nutrition program rather than the sole source of nutrients for demanding mature fruit trees.

🌹 Flower Plants — Excellent

Suitable for many flowering plants grown in containers and rooftop gardens.

Regular, moderate applications help maintain organic matter and support healthy vegetative and flowering growth.

Recommended interval: Every 21–30 days

Avoid excessive application simply to encourage flowering. Consistent, moderate nutrition is preferable.

🌿 Leafy Houseplants — Good at Low Doses

Suitable for many common leafy indoor and shade-tolerant plants, including:

Important: The quantities above are per application, not the total quantity to be applied throughout the growing season.

For young, newly transplanted or weak plants, start with approximately 50% of the recommended quantity and increase gradually as the plant establishes.

How to Apply

MyGardenBd Mixed Fertilizer is best applied as a top dressing.

Step 1 — Prepare the Soil

Remove weeds, fallen leaves and other debris from the surface of the pot.

Step 2 — Loosen the Surface

Gently loosen approximately 1–2 cm of the topsoil without damaging the plant’s roots.

Step 3 — Apply

Measure the recommended quantity according to the plant type and pot size.

Spread the fertilizer evenly around the root zone.

Step 4 — Keep Away from the Stem

Do not pile fertilizer directly against the main stem or trunk.

For larger pots, distribute the fertilizer around the outer portion of the root zone.

Step 5 — Lightly Incorporate

Gently mix the fertilizer into the upper layer of soil.

Step 6 — Water

Water the plant thoroughly after application.

Special Instructions for Dhaka Rooftop Gardening

Bangladesh’s climate can present both intense heat and heavy monsoon rainfall. Container plants on rooftops are particularly exposed to these conditions.

During Heavy Monsoon Rain

Heavy rainfall can wash nutrients out of containers more quickly.

Therefore:

Reduce the normal fertilizer dose by approximately 25–30% during periods of heavy monsoon rainfall.

Do not compensate for nutrient leaching by applying a very large dose at once.

Never Fertilize Waterlogged Plants

If the potting medium is saturated with water and drainage is poor, wait until the growing medium has recovered and the root zone is adequately aerated.

Rooftop Heat

During periods of extreme heat, avoid applying fertilizer to severely wilted or heat-stressed plants. Water appropriately and allow the plant to recover before feeding.

Why Smaller, Regular Applications Are Better?

Container plants have a relatively small root zone compared with plants growing directly in the ground.

Applying an unnecessarily large quantity at once can increase the concentration of soluble salts in the growing medium.

For this reason, moderate and repeated applications are generally preferable to one very heavy application.

Follow the recommended dose for your plant category and pot size rather than assuming that more fertilizer will produce faster growth.

⚠️ Important Information

This is NOT a Complete NPK Fertilizer

MyGardenBd Mixed Fertilizer should primarily be considered an:

Organic Soil Enrichment + Slow-Release Fertilizer + Microbial Soil Amendment

It is not a complete NPK fertilizer.

The actual nutrient content of compost-based fertilizers can vary depending on the source materials, composting process and maturity of the compost.

Heavy-feeding plants—particularly mature fruiting plants—may require additional targeted nutrition depending on their growth stage and individual requirements.

Do not apply extra Epsom Salt

The formulation already contains Epsom salt.

There is no need to increase the concentration. Excessive repeated use of Epsom salt can contribute to salt accumulation in container soil.

Storage

Store the fertilizer in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, protected from excessive rain and moisture.

Keep the product sealed when not in use.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and standing water.

Keep away from children and pets.
