Aster Optimo™ (Callistephus chinensis) is a premium spray-type China Aster from TAKII Seed, developed especially for attractive cut-flower production. It produces large, distinctive chrysanthemum-shaped flowers with strong stems and attractive, vibrant colours.
Optimo has reduced basal branching with prolific flowering toward the upper portion of the plant, making it particularly interesting for growers looking for premium-quality stems for bouquets, floral arrangements and commercial flower markets. The series also offers strong Fusarium resistance and is less susceptible to Botrytis than many conventional Asters.
